This Weekend 2/11/12

Hi Everyone,

Skiing and riding is exceptional and this weekend should be no different.  Couple of things to put on your radar screen…

1.  Intro to Minicuffers starts Saturday March 3rd.  Runs each Saturday 11:30-1:30, $175.  This is the time to learn for those who recently turned 3.  Better snow, warmer sun…a no brainer.

2.  Minicuffer Upgrade.  Those Minicuffers who are itching to ski both morning and afternoon sessions have the opportunity starting Saturday, February 18th.  Call the Perfect Turn office @ 237-6924, or tell your minicuffer coach that you want in.

3.  Junior Program hats are in and have been handed out to some groups.  If your child hasn’t received one yet, please let your coach know

4.  We are putting together an order for a heavyweight Junior Program hoodie sweatshirt.  Believe me when I tell you that your kid is going to want to wear it everywhere.  And the best bit is that you can wear it year round and it will look very cool!  More details this weekend, ask your coach.

Thanks everyone, as always let us know if there is anything that we can do for you.  See you at lineup tomorrow.

How Are We Doing?

Hi everyone,

The legendary mayor of NYC, Edward Koch used to frankly ask his constituents, “How am I doing?”  So being a Jersey/NY native I’m here to ask how Perfect Turn is doing with your children so far?  I care tremendously for this program, having been a part of it as a coach and supervisor and want to keep getting better.

So please, if you have any feedback for me, please let me know.  I also will be calling you as the season progresses (a few families each day) to help get more impressions about your children’s experience.  Hopefully we are exceeding your expectations but if not, please let me know how we can try to do so.

Thank you and see you this Saturday,

Tom Butler, Director Sugarloaf Perfect Turn Ski and Snowboard School

SNOW!

Finally, we received some snow.  Never has 6 inches of snow made so many people so happy.  Super fat skis were in the liftlines, one kid even jokingly was wearing a snorkel.  With that said, the skiing and riding on the trails is exceptional and more terrain is open for your enjoyment.

See you all at lineup tomorrow.

Weekend here already?!

Hello Bubblecuffers,

What a difference a week makes.  When you left the snow was just getting good, now it’s really good with what’s open.  King Pine is skiing great and they’ve started work on the middle of the mountain.  It should be a great weekend.

Hope you are all excited and I look forward to seeing you this weekend.  Remember the KCL race that was postponed last weekend will be tomorrow so those who have signed up need to be at the top of Sawduster chairlift @ 8:30 am.  If you haven’t signed your child up, head over to the comp center and let them know that you want to participate.

Thanks again gang and see you tomorrow morning.

Sorry

Dear Bubblecuffer Families,

I want to apologize for the poor communication we displayed this morning (Dec 29th), with the cancelling of the am session.  The decision was made last minute and was not thoroughly thought out.

Even though we’ve been at this for 40 years, today we made a rookie mistake by not communicating to you in a timely or effective fashion.  With two kids of my own, I know how tough it is to get them ready and anywhere on time.   I apologize for any inconveience that you may have had.

Thank you for your participation and your loyalty to our program.  We will get it right in the future.

Sincerely,

Tom Butler
